Advanced RPAS Certificate
Operators must already hold a Transport Canada Advanced RPAS Pilot Certificate before Summit will consider field capture support.

Work With Summit
Selective field capture support for Summit aerial property work.
Summit may work with qualified local operators when the project, standards, authorization path, and field judgment align. Certification is required; Summit approval is separate.
What Summit Does
Summit provides aerial photography and property documentation for homes, acreages, real estate, commercial properties, sites, and client projects.
Summit owns the customer relationship, pricing, gallery delivery, media rights, sales workflow, and fulfillment. Operators support assigned field capture only, under Summit standards.
Requirements
Summit does not issue Transport Canada certification. Applicants must already hold the required certificate, and certification alone does not create Summit operational approval or assigned work.
Operators must already hold a Transport Canada Advanced RPAS Pilot Certificate before Summit will consider field capture support.
Summit looks for careful site awareness, weather judgment, airspace discipline, and the willingness to pause when conditions are not right.
Operators must be able to follow capture briefs, checklists, authorization boundaries, site conduct standards, and media handling rules.
Communication must stay professional with Summit, clients, property owners, site contacts, and approved stakeholders.
Punctuality, careful notes, organized media handoff, and clear field updates matter as much as the flight itself.
Preference is for operators familiar with Edmonton, Leduc, Beaumont, Sherwood Park, St. Albert, Spruce Grove, and nearby areas.
Safety & Authorization
The intake path is deliberately simple, but selective. Summit only assigns client field work after the operator, project, conditions, and procedures make sense.
Send a concise introduction with certificate status, service area, experience, equipment notes, availability, and sample work if available.
Summit reviews fit, local coverage, experience, communication style, and whether there is a practical reason to continue the conversation.
Selected candidates may complete Summit orientation covering procedures, communication expectations, site conduct, and authorization boundaries.
Summit may evaluate field judgment, flight planning, capture quality, professionalism, and procedure compliance before any assignment.
Field work happens only when the project, conditions, authorization status, Summit approval, and client requirements align.
Role Boundary
This page is not a public reseller channel, open job guarantee, or casual drone gig. Operators work only within assigned Summit scope.
Summit owns each client relationship, gallery delivery, pricing, sales process, and final fulfillment.
Summit Procedures
Operators assigned to Summit work must follow Summit procedures, safety standards, authorization expectations, client-facing standards, and media handling rules for that assignment.
Operational authorization, assignment readiness, or insurance handling should not be assumed before Summit has reviewed the project and approved the correct procedure for the work.
What To Send
Operator interest is handled by direct email so intake stays simple and does not imply a hiring portal, employment offer, contractor status, or guaranteed assignment.
Send a short introduction, your Advanced RPAS certificate status, experience, equipment details, service area, and sample work if available. Kyle can review whether there is a practical fit.
